Society Membership Software for Associations and Nonprofits

Society membership software with no platform service fees.

MeetingBloom provides straightforward society membership software pricing based on the number of active members in your organization. There are no percentage-based platform fees added to membership dues, renewal payments, or other membership transactions.

Your society pays a predictable annual software fee and keeps more of the money it collects. Standard payment-processing charges from Stripe or another payment processor still apply, but MeetingBloom does not add an additional service fee to those transactions.

MeetingBloom Membership Software Pricing

MeetingBloom uses progressive per-member pricing. Each rate applies only to members within that range, so your cost increases gradually as your society grows.

First 100 members

$6 per member per year

Members 101–500

$1.50 per member per year

Members 501–1,000

$1.20 per member per year

Members 1,001–3,000

$0.75 per member per year

More than 3,000 members

Custom quote

Rates are applied progressively. Moving into a higher membership range does not change the rate charged for members in the earlier ranges.

No Additional Platform or Service Fees

Some membership platforms charge a subscription fee and then take an additional percentage of every membership payment. These fees can become expensive as membership dues and online revenue increase.

MeetingBloom does not charge:

Percentage-Based Membership Service Fees

No added percentage fee on membership dues.

Platform Transaction Fees

No MeetingBloom platform transaction fee on payments.

Per-Payment Surcharges

No extra surcharge each time a member pays.

Renewal Fees

No additional fees when a member renews.

This makes the total cost easier to predict and allows your society to retain more of its membership revenue.

Payment processors such as Stripe will still charge their standard credit-card or ACH processing fees. Those charges are paid to the payment processor, not MeetingBloom.

Standard Onboarding Is Included

Standard onboarding is designed to help your organization get started with the core membership setup and administrative tools.

Standard onboarding includes:

  • Membership-level setup
  • Standard membership questions
  • Member directory configuration

Optional Data Migration Services

Additional migration services are available when a society has complex, incomplete, or poorly structured records.

Assisted Migration

Complex Migration

Assisted migration may include data mapping, cleanup assistance, multiple import files, custom membership fields, and directory configuration.

Why Total Cost Matters

A low advertised subscription price does not always mean a lower total cost. Societies should also consider transaction fees, implementation charges, data migration costs, support fees, and the amount of staff time required to manage the software.

For example, a platform charging a 2% service fee would collect $2,500 from a society processing $125,000 in annual membership dues. That service fee would be charged in addition to the platform subscription and normal payment-processing fees.

With MeetingBloom, the software price is based on the number of active members rather than the value of the dues collected.

Questions to Ask When Comparing Membership Platforms

Does the platform charge a percentage of membership payments?

Ask whether the software company adds a service fee or platform fee to each membership payment or renewal.

Are payment-processing charges clearly separated from platform fees?

Standard credit-card or ACH processing fees should be separate from software platform charges.

Is onboarding included?

Confirm whether initial setup, membership levels, directory configuration, and administrator training are included.

Are there additional fees for training or support?

Support fees can affect the real annual cost of membership software.

Does the system support multiple membership types?

Your society may need different dues levels, member categories, approval workflows, or renewal schedules.

Can existing member records be imported?

Ask what type of import is included and whether complex migration services are available if needed.

Does it support automatic renewals?

Automatic renewals can help reduce administrative work and improve member retention.

Can members update their own profiles and payment information?

Self-service tools reduce staff time and keep member records more accurate.

Is a searchable member directory included?

A member directory can provide added value for societies, associations, and professional organizations.

How does the price change as the society grows?

Progressive pricing helps costs increase gradually as membership grows.

Built for Societies of Different Sizes

Smaller societies need affordable software without large enterprise contracts. Growing societies need pricing that does not increase sharply whenever they cross into a new membership range.

MeetingBloom’s progressive pricing structure keeps the entry cost low while gradually reducing the per-member rate as the organization grows. The result is predictable pricing for small societies and competitive annual costs for organizations with hundreds or thousands of members.
